Max mem: 8.00 Mb. --><\/div>\n<p>Een offici\u00eble toertocht die op 300 meter langs je huis komt. Klinkt als een enorme luxe en feitelijk is dat het ook. Alleen voor de echte start moesten wij eerst naar Helvoirt om dan na een uur fietsen op een steenworp van de Burgemeester Vogelslaan weer langs Oisterwijk te komen. Dat gaan we dus niet doen. Na een beetje rekenen bleek dat de eerste offici\u00eble starters rond 8:30 uur Oisterwijk passeren waardoor we heel vertrouwd om 8:30 uur bij de Shell konden verzamelen.<\/p>\n<p>Het verzamelen betrof in dit geval enkel de Oisterwijkse leden van Elsjes MC. Ons lid uit Haaren is bezweken onder de druk van de familie en moest een varken in huis halen. Uit pi\u00ebteit met Arnold en de gemeente Haaren doet Elsjes MC hierover geen nadere mededelingen. Tevens blijft de Zilveren Geit het symbool van de club en heeft het Gouden Varken officieel geen enkele status.<\/p>\n<p>Het parcours werd net buiten Oisterwijk opgepakt en volstrekt illegaal volgden wij de bordjes die het 100 km parcours aangaven. Onze illegale deelname is door enkele weergoden niet onopgemerkt gebleven. Net na Moergestel werden we afgestraft door een stevige regenbui met enkele onweersklappen. Via Oirschot en Eindhoven Airport kwamen wij bij de eerste tussenstop. Hier hebben we netjes betaald voor de deelname en rekende hierbij op de gebruikelijke energierijke aanvulling van de organisatie. Jammer maar helaas is deze aanvulling vanuit ElsjesMC\u00b4s clubkas gekomen.<\/p>\n<p>Na de tussenstop viel de club uit elkaar. De snellere leden van de club haakten aan bij een groep renners met touraspiraties. De gemiddelden liepen op tot &gt;37km en af en toe gaf de snelheidsmeter 44 aan. Jurgen vond het nog nodig om bij Liempde even te gaan liggen op het asfalt. Bij deze imitatie van Johnny Hoogerland was Jurgen echter een Franse TV auto, prikkeldraad, 33 hechtingen en een salto vergeten mee te nemen in zijn voorbereiding. Hierdoor werd zijn valpartij een zielige vertoning en een zwaar gemiste kans op eeuwige roem. Na de valpartij snel weer terug naar waar we mee bezig waren, namelijk heel erg hard fietsen met een groep testosteron aangedreven amateurs. Gevolg van onze krachtsinspanning was dat Jurgen en Pieter bij de tweede tussenstop lang hebben moeten wachten op het restant van Elsjes MC. In een verwachte volgorde met evenredig verwacht tempo kwamen de mannen aangefietst. Gelukkig zorgde een fietsend orkest en een batterij promomeisjes voor een aangenaam wachtmoment. Ondertussen was namelijk ook de zon nog eens gaan schijnen en na de zeer natte ochtend was dit zeer welkom.<\/p>\n<p>Inmiddels stonden de tellers op zo\u2019n 70 km en enkele koppies vertelden dat dat wel genoeg was voor de dag. Een deel van de route is nog gevolgd maar toen Oisterwijk eenmaal op de bordjes stond verdween het moraal om de offici\u00eble finish in Helvoirt te bereiken.
